Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Stephanie Hammond- the product of a single mother, received her Bachelors in Sociology from Binghamton University. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. For over 20 years she has served New York communities as a social worker for the youth and seniors. She currently services clients with counseling and referrals with mental and physical disabilities in a nursing home setting.
In 2010, she incorporated the New York based event and wedding planning service, Simply Sensational Inc. Highlighted celebrities she has worked with include comedians: Rip Michaels, Cedric The Entertainer, the late John Witherspoon, Mike Epps. Musical artist: Melba Moore, Christopher Williams, Kenny Lattimore, Eric Bennett, Keith Murray and Melisa Morgan.
Community projects Stephanie supports through participation and production include: Bushwick Annual Health, Wealth & Beauty Expo, Brooklyn Socks for Seniors, Pampering Day for Seniors (volunteers providing makeup, hair, facials and manicures to seniors), Annual WBLS Coat Drive with Sears, Annual Breast Cancer Walk, Project Drive Feed the Homeless and Comedy Cares where she assists comics & entertainers with getting affordable health coverage & services. In 2017, Stephanie received a New York State Citation for Service.
In 2019, Stephanie was crowned Ms. Exquisite Full-Figured USA Tri-State and in 2020 crowned Ms. Full-Figured Swimwear 2020 at Nationals. Her motto is "An opportunity is not an opportunity unless you take it."
She currently resides in Brooklyn and serves as manager to her 15 year-old daughter- actress, model and entrepreneur, Jada Tillett aka Jada Starz.
